I tried this arm knitting craft again. This looks better than the first attempt. I think I will use one skein next time instead of 2. The yarn is "chunky" and is 10% wool. It's nice and soft and cuddly. This is a little heavy!! It will keep me warm next Winter!!
Yarn Used (From Joann): $14.99 each 10% Wool & 90% Acrylic

Arm Knitting Anyone!? ***SIGH***
I'm definately NOT a crocheter or knitter. Tried both in the past and could not just grasp it. My Granny was a knitter and one of my Great Aunts was a crocheter. They made great big, beautiful afghans and quilts, baby blankets, christmas decorations and the list goes on and on!! I will try this, but I have a feeling I'll be sticking to sewing!!
I will keep trying this arm knitting thing until I can get it down!!
Yarn from Joann
I don't think this is right!

Merging 2 Patterns to Create 1 Look
Sew-A-Long with Shun D.
PATTERN REVIEW
Shun D.'s tutorial is very easy to follow and merging the 2 patterns is very simple to do. I will probably make this again in a different solid color maybe an olive green. I cut a size 12 in each pattern but could have gotten away with cutting a 12 top and 10 pants. The only alterations I had to make was taking the pants and waste in just a tad. The fabric I used is an ITY knit that has a heavy drape to it and hangs nicely along with a little slinky feeling to it. Basic Black is back!!!!

Pattern Review
This dress was quick and easy to sew and I will sew it again! I think I'll use a solid color or maybe an "ikat" print on the next one. I cut the size 12. I did not make any changes or alterations to the pattern. I do recommend this pattern to others, the instructions were easy to follow and the finished garment looks like the pattern. I love the bishop sleeves and the tie/belt/sash which gives the look of a "wrap" dress.
